Point Roberts Border Crossing
The truth is that Point Roberts in Washington is a small section of land that is separated by a body of water and an international border. Therefore it can only be reached by land through Canada. Its exact location is at the southern end of the Tsawwassen peninsula.
The reason why part of the territory of this passage (which has a physical section of the province of British Columbia) belongs to the United States is because the 49th parallel passes through this section of land.
This really happened at the time that the border between the United States and Canada was established as the 49th parallel, crossing the southern tip of the Tsawwassen peninsula. This situation originated a section of US territory that cannot be accessed by land from the US but from Canada.
All the border places have beautiful landscapes so when you pass through here you can enjoy the wonderful place, in addition to this in the area you can find a small airport and a large marina that has access by air as well as by land water and its schedule operating 24 hours a day every day a week, but from the Canadian side commercial services are available between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday except for holidays, in addition to the only one Authorized land access to Canada from Point Roberts is Tyee Street, which in Canada is 56th Street.
This is another of the input ports that have several NEXUS lanes.
To enter Canada the lanes are available every day from 7 am to 10 pm and to enter the United States, the lanes are open every day from 9am to 7 pm.
